When do you need to upgrade your driveshaft?

Adding a lift kit changes the geometry of your Jeep, lifts higher than 2.5 inches require extra driveshaft length. Everyone wants bigger tires, but larger tires add size and weight and require more torque to turn and your factory driveshaft may not be able to handle the extra power needed. Upgraded engines also require driveshaft upgrades to prevent premature failure.
